1.Objective Through the clinical study of the traditional Chinese medicine Xueduqing(the empirical prescription of chief physican Zhou Dayong worked in The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine),patients with severe pneumonia mechanical ventilation were observed before and after treatment of white blood cells,interleukin-6,per minute ventilation Changes in volume,oxygenation index,shallow fast breathing index,cough peak flow rate,mechanical ventilation time,offline success rate,APACHE II score,TCM syndrome score,and discussion of Xueduqing on patients with severe pneumonia mechanical ventilation Impact.2.Methods The cases were from 60 patients who were diagnosed with severe pneumonia and were mechanically ventilated in the ICU admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from February 2017 to October 2018.They were randomly divided into two groups,30 patients in the treatment group and 30 patients in the control group.The diagnostic criteria of this study used the diagnostic criteria of severe pneumonia developed by the US IDSA/ATS in 2007.The principle of treatment in the control group was based on the“China's Emergency Clinical Practitioner Clinical Practice Expert Consensus” issued by the“Chinese Medical Association Emergency Physician Branch”in 2016.Use of antibiotics and hormones,nutritional support,oxygen therapy or assisted breathing,and stable internal environment.The treatment group was treated with the in-hospital experienced medicine compound Xueduqing in the basic treatment of the control group.It was fried by the decocting room of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine.Take a bag of 100 ml at a time,once a day in the morning and evening,for a course of treatment for 7 days.At the same time,all patients were subjected to pressure-controlled mechanical ventilation,giving a uniform range of parameter settings.Comparison of white blood cells,interleukin-6,ventilation per minute,oxygenation index,shallow fast breathing index,cough peak flow rate,mechanical ventilation time,offline success rate,and TCM symptom scores,APACHE II scores,and medical efficacy in the two groups before and after treatment.3.Results(1)Compared with the control group,the white blood cells and interleukin-6 in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).(2)The ventilation rate,oxygenation index and cough peak flow rate of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group.The shallow fast breathing index decreased significantly(P<0.05).The treatment group significantly shortened the mechanical ventilation time and improved the offline success rate compared with the control group,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)The APACHE II score and TCM syndrome scores of the treatment group compared with the control group,the value were significantly lower,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)The total effective rate was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Conclusion Xueduqing can effectively reduce the levels of white blood cells and interleukin-6 in patients with severe pneumonia mechanical ventilation,increase the ventilation per minute,oxygenation index,reduce the shallow fast breathing index,increase the cough peak flow rate,reduce the mechanical ventilation time,improve the offline success rate,and reduce TCM syndrome scores,APACHE II scores,improve the effectiveness of Chinese medicine.It shows that Xueduqing plays an important role in improving the symptoms,prognosis and promoting offline of patients with severe pneumonia.
