ObjectiveTo explore the current status of stigma and and its relationship with social support and self-esteem in patients with bladder cancer and cutaneous ureterostomy,to identify factors that influence the stigma,and to explore the relationship between social support and self-esteem.MethodsPatients with cutaneous ureterostomy were surveyed in jiangxi province of nanchang during March in 2018 to March in 2019.We use four questionnaire and including The Patients Information Questionnaire,Social Impact Scale,Social Support Rating Scale and Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale.Then use excel to establish the database and SPSS17.0 software to analyzed.Results1.The patients of stigma total score was(52.74±9.76).The four dimensions is social exclusion score was(21.31±4.05),Economic discrimination score was(6.96±1.89),Inner sense of shame score was(11.28±2.93),Social isolation score was(13.19±2.95).2.The mean total score of the social support was(41.85±9.35),the score of three dimensions,including the subjective support score was(22.31±6.19),objective support score was(11.77±3.81),the utility of support score was(7.78±2.80).The total score of self-esteem for patients with cutaneous ureterostomy was(23.2±3.91).3.Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in the degree of disgrace between highest education,age,gender,monthly income,medical payment method,the degree of ostomy acceptance,ostomy self-care situation,the degree of communication with health care workers.4.The cutaneous ureterostomy of patients' stigma total score and four dimensions including social exclusion and economic discrimination and inner sense of shame and social isolation scores were negatively correlated to the scores of socialsupport and subjective support and utility of support.The cutaneous ureterostomy of patients' stigma total score and four dimensions were negatively correlated to the total score of self-esteem.5.In a multiple stepwise regression analysis,highest education,ostomy self-care situation,age,the degree of communication with health care workers,monthly income,self-esteem,the degree of ostomy acceptance.Conclusions1.The cutaneous ureterostomy of patients were in a middle level of stigma.2.Increasing the level of social support can significantly reduce the cutaneous ureterostomy of patients' stigma.3.The self-esteem of the cutaneous ureterostomy patients lower,makes them more inferior and higher stigma.4.The cutaneous ureterostomy of patients' main influencing factors were highest education,ostomy self-care situation,age,the degree of communication with health care workers,monthly income,self-esteem,the degree of ostomy acceptance.
