Background: Postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV)is one of the common complications of postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction in gynecological laparoscopic general anesthesia. It affects the quality of postoperative recovery and the first anal exhaust time after surgery. It is a commonly used index of recovery of gastrointestinal motor function in clinical practice, but the relationship between PONV and the first anal exhaust time after surgery and whether the degree of PONV occurs is related to the first postoperative anal exhaust time.Report.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to provide a reference for clinical work by observing the relationship between PONV and the first postoperative anal exhaust time, and retrospectively analyzing the relationship between them and their correlation. Methods: Patients with an age of 18-65 years,ASA grade I-II,elective laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, and patients with intracranial lesions,a history of mental illness, and postoperative ICU were excluded.According to whether the patients had postoperative nausea and vomiting, they were divided into PONV group or non-PONV group, and the first anal exhaust time was recorded after follow-up.The data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software.Whether there was a significant difference in the time of secondary anal exhaust;according to the correlation analysis, whether there was a correlation between the degree of occurrence of PONV and the first anal exhaust time after surgery. Results: The study included 1001 eligible patients, including 392 in the PONV group, the first anal exhaust time was 27.65 ± 10.21(h),the non-PONV group was 609,andthe first anal exhaust time was 30.14 ± 10.89(h).The analysis found that P < 0.001,there was a statistical difference, that is,the first anal exhaust in the PONV group was shorter than that in the non-PONV group;in addition, the correlation between the degree of PONV occurrence and the first postoperative anal exhaust time showed: r=-0.097.Conclusion: The incidence of postoperative PONV in patients undergoing gynecologic laparoscopic surgery is shorter than that in patients without PONV.There is no linear correlation between the degree of PONV and the first anal exhaust time.
