Objective: To investigate the relative expression of long non-coding RNA BLACAT1(lncRNA BLACAT1)and microRNA-204-5P(miR204-5P)in glioma tissues and its influence on the prognosis of glioma patients,for clinical diagnosis and treatment of gelatin Patients with stromal tumors provide a new theoretical basis.Methods: Retrospective analysis of 48 cases of glioma patients undergoing surgical treatment at the Department of Neurosurgery,Yijishan Hospital.RT-PCR was used to verify the relative expression of lncRNA BLACAT1 and miR204-5p in the sample,and then to explore the correlation between the expression and glioma staging and grading.Finally,based on clinical follow-up data of glioma patients,the relationship between relative expression and prognosis of glioma patients was analyzed.Results: In the study,we found that the relative expression of lncRNA BLACAT1 in normal non-tumor tissues was significantly lower than that in glioma specimens.The relative expression of lncRNA BLACAT1 was different with glioma grade in glioma specimens,the higher the glioma grade,the higher the relative expression of lncRNA BLACAT1.Through late follow-up results,it was found that lncRNA BLACAT1 was negatively correlated with progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)in patients with glioma.However,the relative expression of miR204-5P in normal non-tumor tissues was significantly higher than that in glioma specimens.The expression level was closely related to glioma grade in glioma specimens,The higher the tumor grade,The lower expression of miR204-5P.Also from late follow-up results,miR204-5P was positively correlated with progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)in patients with glioma.There was a negative correlation between the relative expression of lncRNA BLACAT1 and miR204-5P in glioma tissues,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: LncRNA BLACAT1 and miR204-5p are differentially expressed in low-grade gliomas and high-grade gliomas,and their relative expression is related to the survival of glioma patients,suggesting that lncRNA BLACAT1 and miR204-5p may be early glioma patients effective indicators for diagnosis and prognosis.
