Objective: To analyze the incidence of urinary stones and the characteristics of stone components in northern Guangxi, and analyze the relationship between stone composition and age and gender,to explore the epidemiological situation of urinary calculi in northern Guangxi, and to study the clinical significance of individualized dietary prevention guidance in preventing stone recurrence, and provide theoretical basis for clinical.METHODS: Retrospectively collected 1843 cases of urinary calculi in Affiliated Hospital of Guilin Medical College from June 2011 to December 2017,analysis urinary calculi components by infrared spectroscopy, and statistical data(including gender, age, stone location, past medical history, stone composition, place of residence),comparative analysis of the distribution characteristics of urinary calculi in age,sex and stone position in northern Guangxi;patients who were discharged from January 2015 to December 2016 were followed up and divided into intervention group and control group according to the follow-up results, among them, the strict implementation of individualized dietary prevention guidance was the intervention group, while the non-implementation of dietary prevention guidance was the control group, after 1 year of follow-up,the recurrence rate of stones was compared between the two groups. Results: Among the 1843 patients with urinary calculi in northern Guangxi, there were more male patients than females, the ratio of them was 2.01:1.00;the middle-aged group(41~65 years old)had the most stones, accounting for 67.66%;the stone part is mainly composed of kidney stones, accounting for 45.14%,followed by ureteral stones(36.35%),among them, juvenile(< 18 years old),young(18 ~ 40 years old),middle-aged(41~ 65 years old)patients are mainly kidney stones,in the elderly group, bladder stones were predominant;the patients with upper urinary tract stones are more than those with lower urinary tract stones;the mixed stones in the stone composition are mainly calcium oxalate + carbonate apatite + calcium oxalate dihydrate, accounting for 28.90%;the simple stone composition is mainly anhydrous uric acid, accounting for 47.81%;among all the stone components, calcium oxalate-like stones accounted for the majority of the stones, which was 1401 cases(76.01%);there are gender differences in the incidence of calcium oxalate stones, uric acid stones, and infectious stones;urinary stones are higher in male patients, and infectious stones are second only to calcium oxalate stones in female patients;urinary stones are higher in male patients, and infectious stones are second only to calcium oxalate stones in female patients;among the follow-up patients, the total recurrence rate of urinary calculi in the intervention group(6.61%)was lower than that in the control group(24.90%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.There are more male patients than females in urinary calculi in northern Guangxi, and most of them are middle-aged patients;2.Upper urinary calculi are predominant in northern Guangxi, while lower urinary calculi are more common in males than in females;3.Calcium oxalate calculus is the most common component of urinary calculus in northern Guangxi, followed by infectious calculus and uric acid calculus;4.Men in northern Guangxi are more susceptible to uric acid stones than women, while women are more susceptible to infectious stones than men;5.Individualized dietary guidance can effectively reduce the risk of recurrence of stones.
