Objective Albumin-bilirubin(ALBI)grades were initially established in Patients with he Patocellular carcinoma to assess the severity of liver dysfunction.Because ALBI grades only requires two Parameters, including serum bilirubin and albumin,it has the advantages of low cost, easy access and low detection bias.ALBI classification Provides an evidence-based and objective method to assess liver function in Patients with liver cancer. This new model eliminates the influence of subjective variables, and ALBI classification is sim Pler and more reliable than traditional child-Pugh classification in Predicting long-term survival of Patients with liver cancer, which has been extensively tested in Patients with liver cancer.Exce Pt for he Patocellular carcinoma, there are few re Ports on the Prognostic significance of ABLI grading in other gastrointestinal tumors. In this study,Preo Perative albumin-bilirubin grading was used to evaluate the Prognosis of Patients with gastric cancer. Methods Personal information and clinico Pathological data of 284 Patients with gastric cancer treated by gastrointestinal surgery in the first affiliated hos Pital of anhui medical university from January 2012 to December 2012 were collected. There were206 cases with grade 1 ALBI,accounting for 72.5%.There were 78 cases with grade 2ALBI classification, accounting for 27.5%.There were 211 males and 73 females.Grou Ps were divided according to the critical value of the longest diameter of the tumor, including 173 cases < 5 cm and 111 cases < 5 cm.Posto Perative Pathological staging was based on the TNM staging Published by the international anti-cancer alliance and the united cancer center of the United States in 2010,and the Posto Perative Pathological staging was based on the TNM staging Published by the international anti-cancer alliance and the united cancer center of the United States in 2010.When the relationshi P between ABLI grade and clinico Pathological data was analyzed, the test was used.Ka Plan-meier method was used to draw the survival curve.Log rank test analysis was used for com Parison.Univariate and multivariate analyses were Performed using Cox Pro Portional risk model, and P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant for all test results. Results The test results of ALBI score and clinical features of Patients with gastric cancer showed that there was no significant difference between grade 2 and grade 1 in age(=3.025,P=0.082)and gender(=0.102,P=0.750)(all P>0.05).However,there were statistically significant differences in tumor size(=13.558,P<0.001),differentiation ty Pe(=3.936,P=0.047),tumor TNM stage(=8.485,P=0.004)and CEA(=3.864,P=0.049)(all P<0.05).Ka Plan-meier analysis and com Parison showed that the survival time of ALBI grade 1 was longer than that of ALBI grade 2,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Grade 1 survival was better than grade 2 gastric cancer Patients; The survival time of the high-albumin grou P(39.0g/L)was longer than that of the low-albumin grou P(< 39.0g/L),and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.033).There was no significant difference between the low bilirubin grou P and the high bilirubin grou P(P=0.673).The results of univariate analysis showed that ALBI grade,CEA,tumor size, differentiation ty Pe and TNM stage were related to the Prognosis of gastric cancer(all P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant). In order to exclude the interaction between various factors, the significant variables in the univariate analysis were included in the multivariate analysis.COX multivariate analysis showed that ALBI grade,CEA,differentiation ty Pe and TNM stage were inde Pendent factors affecting the Prognosis of gastric cancer(all P<0.05,with statistically significant differences). Conclusion ALBI grade can be used as a sim Ple Predictor to assess the Prognosis of Patients and may be an inde Pendent risk factor for overall survival.
