Objective To investigate the changes and significance of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 level in children with Henoch-Sch?nlein purpura(HSP).Methods Collected 263 children with newly-diagnosed HSP in the Rheumatology of Ningbo woman and children' hospital from February 1st,2017 to January 31 th,2018 as the case group.In the same period,collected 76 children with indirect inguinal hernia in pediatric general surgery department as the control group.Serum samples were collected on the first day of admission,chemiluminescence was used to measure serum of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 level.Clinical data(such as:gender,age,season,length of hospital stay,clinical feature,glucocorticoid therapy,relevant laboratory examination results,the patients were followed up for 6 months)were compared between the groups.Results 1.The serum level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 in the HSP group was lower than in the control group(P<0.01).2.The serum level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 in children with HSP was affected by age,and the average serum level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 in children of all age groups have statistical difference(P<0.01),and there was negative correlation between them.The older the age,the lower the serum level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3.3.Serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 were different in children with HSP in different seasons,with the highest in autumn and the lowest in spring.4.The serum level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 in the NHSPN group was higher than that in the HSPN group(P<0.01),and the goup with gastrointestinal symptoms lower than that without gastrointestinal symptoms(P<0.01).5.There was negative correlation between the serum level of25-hydroxyvitamin D3 and the days of hospitalization in the children with HSP.6.The serum level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 treated by glucocorticoid group was lower than the group without glucocorticoid(P<0.01).7.There was negative correlation between Ig A level and serum25-hydroxyvitamin D3 level in the children with HSP(the pearson correlation coefficient was-0.137,P=0.028),while there was no correlation between other indicators and serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 level,such as WBC,PLT,ESR,D-D,Fib,Ig G,etc.Conclusions The incidence of HSP and HSPN was correlated with the serum level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3;There was negative correlation between the age and serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 level in children with HSP;Serum levels of25-hydroxyvitamin D3 were different in children with HSP in different seasons,with the highest in autumn and the lowest in spring;There was negative correlation between Ig A level and serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 level in the children with HSP.
