Objectives: To explore the factors affecting the treatment of autoimmune hyperthyroidism caused by radioactive I-131.To investigate the factors affecting hypothyroidism through follow-up,and to analyze various factors to understand the impact of various factors on the treatment outcome. The outcome of the treatment was estimated based on the results of the analysis. Methods: 452 patients with autoimmune hyperthyroidism(Graves and Hashimoto’s disease)were treated with radioactive I-131 for the first time. The age ranged from 8 to 75 years old, including 356 females and 96 males. The antithyroid hormones were stopped before treatment. The drug and iodine-containing foods for 2weeks.in accordance with the clinical path of hyperthyroidism developed by our hospital: a,I-131 pre-treatment routine physical examination;b,according to the results of the relevant test results to estimate the weight of the thyroid, and further determine the radioactivity of the I-131 used in the treatment;c,developping a follow-up table, and for different time points(three mouths, six mouths and twelve mouths)return to the treatment efficacy.Data grouping: a is divided into male group and female group according to gender;b is divided into three groups according to age: middle, middle and old age;c is divided into 30~65,66~85,86~100 according to the highest iodine thyroid rate.95 three groups;d according to the level of TPO-Ab antibody is divided into positive group and negative group;e according to the level of TG-Ab antibody is divided into positive group and negative group.the use of spss24.0 for the follow-up results and statistical analysis. Results: The cure rate of Radioactive I-131 between male group and female group is a statistical difference,That is,the male cure rate and the incidence of hypothyroidism are higher than women’s.Comparison of the cure rate and hypothyroidism after radioactive I-131 treatment of I-131 in the youth, middle and old age groups. There was a statistically significant difference between the three groups. The incidence of hypothyroidism was not statistically significant,That is,the cure rate and the incidence of hypothyroidism in the middle-aged group are higher than those in the young and old groups. The cure rate and the hypothyroidismd rate between the three groups of different thyroid uptake rates were statistically significant,The cure rate of thyroid iodine rate 66~100 group was higher than that of 30~65 group. There was nostatistical difference between 66~85 group and 86~100 group. The incidence of hypothyroidism in 86~100 group was higher than that in 30~85 group. There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of hypothyroidism between the 30~65and 66~85 groups. There was no significant difference in the cure rate between the TPO-Ab antibody negative and positive groups. There was a statistically significant difference in the incidence of hypothyroidism between the two groups,The antibody-positive group had a higher incidence of hypothyroidism than the negative group. There was a statistically significant difference between the TG-Ab negative and positive groups,The antibody-positive group had a higher cure rate and a lower incidence of hypothyroidism than the negative group. Conclusions: for males,middle-aged people, high iodine uptake rate,TPO-Ab positive and Patients with TG-Ab-positive hyperthyroidism should be appropriately adjusted when determining the dose of radioactive I-131 treatment to ensure the reduction of hypothyroidism while the hyperthyroidism is cured.
