Objective: By observing the effect of Ganning Fang on the inflammation index of chronic hepatitis B(CHB),to explore its effect on CHB inflammation and its possible mechanism,so as to provide a reference for clinical application of Ganning Formula in the treatment of CHB.Methods: Sixty-four CHB patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into control group and treatment group according to the random number table method.Among them,32 patients in the control group were treated with entecavir dispersible tablets, and 32 patients in the treatment group were treated with Ganning Fang on the basis of the control group. Both groups took 24 weeks as a course of treatment and took a course of treatment altogether. The total scores of TCM symptoms, hepatic inflammatory markers(ALT,AST,GGT),proinflammatory factors(IL-18,IL-8,TNF-?),anti-inflammatory factors(IL-10,IL-13),oxidative stress indicators(MDA,SOD),inflammatory mediators(NO),virological indicators(HBV-DNA)were observed and recorded before and after treatment.Through the changes of the above indicators, the overall efficacy of the two groups of patients was evaluated and the effect of Ganning Fang on the inflammation of CHB and its possible mechanism were discussed. Results: 1.Comparison of overall efficacy: The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.63%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 68.75%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group, and the difference wasstatistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of total scores of TCM symptoms: Compared with before treatment, the total scores of TCM syndromes of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the two groups were compared. The total score of TCM syndromes in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of liver inflammation index levels: Compared with before treatment, the serum levels of ALT,AST and GTT in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01);The levels of ALT,AST and GTT in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of pro-inflammatory factor levels:Compared with before treatment, the levels of IL-18 and TNF-? in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Compared with before treatment, the levels of IL-8 in the two groups after treatment had no significant change(P>0.05);After treatment, the levels of IL-18 and TNF-? in the two groups were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the IL-8 levels between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).5.Comparison of anti-inflammatory factor levels: Compared with before treatment, the levels of IL-10 and IL-13 in the serum of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of-10 and IL-13 were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).6.Comparison of oxidative stress indicators: Compared with before treatment, the levels of serum SOD in the two groups after treatment were significantly higher than before treatment(P<0.05);Compared with before treatment, the levels of serum MDA in the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05);The SOD level in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in serum MDA level between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).7.Comparison of serum inflammatory mediator levels: Compared with before treatment, the levels of NO in the two groups after treatment were lower than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the level of NO in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).8.Comparison of HBV-DNA levels: Compared with before treatment, the levels of HBV-DNA in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no difference between the two groups after treatment.Statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion: 1.The overall efficacy of Ganning Fang combined with entecavir in the treatment of CHB is better than that of entecavir alone, especially in improving TCM symptoms, reducing liver inflammation and liver cell damage.2.The effect of Ganning Fang on CHB inflammation may be achieved by restoring the proinflammatory/anti-inflammatory,oxidative/antioxidant balance and reducing the level of inflammatory mediators.
