Objective: Stroke hemiplegia in stroke causes difficulty in walking and seriously impedes the ability of patients to exercise in daily life.Restoration of walking function is the primary rehabilitation goal of patients with hemiplegia after stroke in the medical rehabilitation period.Recent studies have noted that walking difficulties during hemiplegia recovery have two causes: neuromuscular control disorders and muscle weakness caused by increased muscle tone. However, there are few research methods in the conventional training methods that can reduce the muscle tension of the ankle to achieve neuromuscular control and increase muscle strength. Therefore, this paper finds relevant data, adds training in water treadmill based on traditional physical therapy, and observes and discusses the effect of water treadmill training on lower limb motor function of stroke patients.Seek an effective rehabilitation method for restoring walking ability in stroke patients. Methods: The selected subjects were 20 stroke patients treated in the Bayi Rehabilitation Center in Sichuan Province from April 2018 to October 2018.The patients were randomly divided into a water treadmill group and a regular rehabilitation group of 10 people. The water treadmill group was added to the water treadmill training based on the traditional physical therapy(PT).The water treadmill group and the conventional rehabilitation group were evaluated before the experiment and after the 2nd,6th,and 8th week of the rehabilitation treatment. The evaluation contents were: Fugl-Meye lower limb motor function assessment(FMA),Berg balance scale(BBS),and 10 m walking speed(10MTW).Results: 1.Before the experiment, there was no significant difference in the FMA scores between the conventional rehabilitation group and the water treadmill group(P>0.05).The scores of the two groups were comparable. After 2 weeks of training, the regular rehabilitation group and the water treadmill group The FMA scores were improved but there was no significant difference compared with the pre-experimental ratio(P>0.05).After 6 weeks of treatment, the FMA scores of the routine rehabilitation group and the water treadmill group were significantly different from those before the experiment(P< 0.01);After receiving 8 weeks of treatment, the FMA scores of the conventional rehabilitation group and the water treadmill group were significantly different from those before the experiment and the water treadmill group increased more significantly;2.Between the two groups of BBS scores before the experiment There was no difference(P>0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment, there was no difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After 6 weeks of treatment, the scores of the two groups were significantly different from those before treatment(P< After 8 weeks of treatment, the scores of the two groups were significantly different from those before the experiment(P<0.01).3.In the comparison of the results of 10 MTW,there was no significant difference between the two groups before the experiment(P>0.05).At 2,6,and 8 weeks, the results of 10 MTW in the two groups were compared. The results before treatment were extremely significant(P<0.01),while at 6 and 8 weeks, the 10 MTW results in the water treadmill group were significantly better than the conventional rehabilitation group. Conclusion: In the 8-week rehabilitation training of the water treadmill group and the regular rehabilitation group, the scores of the evaluation indexes of lower limb function of stroke patients were significantly improved compared with those before rehabilitation. The water treadmill group has a more significant improvement in the FMA score and 10 MTW results than the conventional rehabilitation group, indicating that the water treadmill training has a significant improvement over the motor function and walking speed and walking ability of the lower limbs of the stroke patients. In the BBS score, although the scores of the two groups were significantly improved compared with the pre-recovery score,it could not be said that the improvement of the balance ability of the water in the treadmill training was better than the conventional rehabilitation. The results of this study show that the combination of water treadmill training and routine rehabilitation training can effectively improve the lower limbs function and walking ability of stroke patients, which lays a good foundation for later rehabilitation and high quality of life.
