Objective: To research the feasibility of staging chronic rhinosinusitis complicated with osteitis by extracting the gray level co-occurrence matrix texture parameters of MRI image of inferior turbinate mucosa.Materials and methods: 40 patients in our hospital with Chronic Rhinosinusitis(CRS)from September 2017 to August 2018.Before taking surgery,the brain MRI scans were acquired.MaZda software was used to analyze the MRI texture of inferior turbinate mucosa,and to obtain relevant gray level co-occurrence matrix texture features parameters(entropy,energy,correlation,contrast,Inverse Difference Moment).Results:1.40 patients with CRS ethmoid bone HE staining slice under the microscope pathomorphism changes: ?grade 15 cases(37.5%);? grade15 cases(37.5%);?grade 7 cases(17.5%);? grade 3 cases(7.5%).2.The histopathological grading of the ethmoid bone was positively correlated with the Entropy value of the corresponding gray scale symbiotic matrix texture feature parameter of the inferior turbinate mucosa MRI,and the r value was 0.855.3.The histopathological grading of ethmoid bone was negatively correlated with the IDM value of the corresponding gray scale co-occurrence matrix texture feature parameter of inferior turbinate mucosa MRI,and the r value was-0.849.4.The histopathological grading of the ethmoid bone was positively correlated with the Contrast value of the corresponding gray scale co-occurrence matrix texture feature parameters of the inferior turbinate mucosa MRI,with the r value of-0.665.5.The histopathological grading of ethmoid bone was weakly and negatively correlated with the corresponding gray scale symbiosis matrix texture characteristic parameter Energy of MRI of inferior turbinate mucosa,with an r value of-0.224.6.The Correlation between the histopathological grading of ethmoid bone and the corresponding gray scale co-occurrence matrix texture characteristic parameters of MRI of the inferior turbinate mucosa was weakly positive,and the r value was 0.241.7.Ethmoid bone osteitis ? grade IDM value of 95% confidence interval(0.524,0.557),? grade IDM value of 95% confidence interval(0.480,0.494),? grade IDM value of 95% confidence interval(0.397,0.457).Conclusion:1.With the increase of pathological grading of CRS ethmoid osteitis,MRI of inferior turbinate mucosa showed uneven distribution of gray scale,shallow texture groove,blurred image,less texture,more complex image and rougher texture.2.The Entropy of texture feature parameters of gray symbiosis matrix in MRI of inferior turbinate mucosa were positively correlated with the histopathological grading of ethmoid osteitis,while the IDM and Contrast of gray symbiosis matrix texture feature parameters in MRI of inferior turbinate mucosa was negatively correlated with the histopathological grading of ethmoid osteitis.3.Entropy,IDM and Contrast may be used as imaging parameters for preoperative evaluation of CRS osteitis.
