Objective:A retrospective study was conducted on 112 patients hospitalized within 24 hours after thoracolumbar compression fracture to explore the related factors of constipation after thoracolumbar compression fracture,so as to provide references for clinical workers,so as to reduce the additional pain and potential risks of constipation for patients with thoracolumbar compression fracture and improve the quality of life of patients during fracture recovery.Method:According to the set case selection criteria,112 cases of thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures were selected from the patients hospitalized in the Department of Spinal Orthopedics,Wuxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 1,2017 to December 31,2018.The defecation situation of the patients within one week of hospitalization was observed. The sex, age, number of vertebral fractures, main fracture segments, degree of vertebral compression and stop were examined by ?2 test.Univariate analysis was carried out on factors such as painkillers, diabetes mellitus and pre-intervention of Zengye Chengqi Decoction.Statistically significant constipation-related factors were screened out with P<0.05.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was made on possible factors which were confirmed by univariate analysis to have influence on constipation after thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture, with P<0.05 as statistical significance. To study the relationship between various possible related factors and the incidence of constipation under the influence of multiple factors, and to analyze the related factors of constipation after thoracolumbar compression fracture combined with single factor and multi-factor analysis results.Results:(1)80 of the 112 cases of thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture included in this study had constipation, the incidence of constipation was 71.4%.(2)C h i-square test analysis showed that under the single factor effect, the degree of fracture compression and the intervention of Zengye Chengqi Decoction had statistical significance on the incidence of constipation after thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture(P<0.05).(3)M ultivariate logistic regression analysis show ed that the degree of vertebral compression and pre-intervention factors of Zengye Chengqi Decoction were independent influencing factors of constipation after thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture(P<0.05).Moderate and severe vertebral compression were risk factors of constipation after thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture(P<0.05).Pre-intervention with Zengye Chengqi Decoction was the protective factor of constipation after thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The incidence of constipation after thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture is higher,up to 71.4%.(2)The degree of fracture com pression m ay be a risk factor for constipation after thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture.(3)The degree of vertebral compression may be a risk factor for constipation after thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture. |
