Purpose:This study group was to study the clinical efficacy and safety of pressing needles combined with continuous femoral nerve block for analgesia after total knee arthroplasty.Methods:60 patients undergoing unilateral total knee arthroplasty for the first time were divided into group A(pressing needles group),group B(continuous femoral nerve block group),and group C(pressing needles combined with continuous femoral nerve block group)with 20 cases in each group.During routine treatment and functional rehabilitation exercise period, the resting state pain score(VAS-R),passive motion pain score(VAS-P),IL-6 expression level before and after operation and the incidence of adverse reactions were observed and compared between the 3 groups.Results:1.VAS-R scores in group C were significantly lower than those in group AB at 24 hours,48 hours and 72 hours after operation, with significant difference(P<0.05);VAS-R scores at 96 hours after operation in three groups had no significant difference(P>0.05),2.VAS-P scores of 24 hours,48 hours,72 hours and 96 hours after operation in group C were significantly lower than those in group AB(P<0.05).3.The expression of IL-6 in group C was significantly lower than that in group AB at 24h and 72h after operation(P<0.05).4.The incidence of adverse reactions was similar between the 3 groups, and there was no momentous discrepancy in statistical algorithm between the 3groups after operation(P>0.05).Conclusion:Press-needle acupuncture combined with femoral nerve block with femoral nerve block has obvious analgesic effect after total knee arthroplasty. It can reduce the release of proinflammatory factors after operation, and is conducive to early functional rehabilitation of knee joint. It can be applied to patients who need continuous functional rehabilitation training after TKA operation.
