Objective:To explore the clinical significance of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR)in the diagnosis of Kawasaki disease in children and to provide a new laboratory index for the clinical diagnosis of Kawasaki disease in children.Methods:A total of 169 children with Kawasaki disease(Kawasaki disease)were collected from the Department of Pediatrics,Yanbian University Affiliated Hospital on August 12,2008.12/2018.100 healthy children of the same age were taken as the control group.The blood routine results on admission were recorded and the ratio of neutrophil to lymphocyte(NLR)and platelet to lymphocyte ratio(PLR).were calculated.The NLR and PLR values of the two groups were compared and analyzed.The normality of all the data was tested and the normal distribution was not followed.Mann-whitney rank sum test and wilcoxson matched rank sum test were used to test the differences between plr and nlr at admission and before discharge.Spss statistical software was used to draw the roc curve and analyze it.Results:1.The PLR quartile of control group was 83.21(68.21 101.90),95%CI was 77.68?89.90,PLR quartile of Kawasaki disease was 124.30(85.78184.40),95%CI was 115.00?130.10.PLR in Kawasaki disease group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.0001).2.The NLR quartile of control group was 0.747(0.467,1.032)and 95%CI was 0.635?0.851.The NLR quartile and 95%CI of Kawasaki disease group were 3.118(1.782±5.235)and 2.682n 3.420,respectively.NLR in Kawasaki disease group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.0001).3.The median of PLR difference between pre-discharge and admission was 13.28.PLR decreased significantly at discharge after Wilcoxson paired rank sum test(P<0.05).4.The median of NLR difference between reexamination before discharge and admission was-2.307.After Wilcoxson matched rank sum test,PLR decreased significantly at discharge(P<0.0001).5.Area Analysis under ROC Curve of PLR and NLR in Kawasaki Disease Children:PLR:AUC=0.731,95%CI:0.672-0.790,P=0.000;NLR:AUC=0.936,95%CI:0.906-0.966,P=0.000.When the predictive value of PLR is 109.988,the sensitivity is 57.1,the specificity is 88.0,the predictive value of NLR is 1.417,the sensitivity is 86.3%,the specificity is 90.0%.Conclusion:1.The inflammatory markers NLR and PLR have some clinical significance in the diagnosis of Kawasaki disease.2.NLR is more accurate than PLR in diagnosing Kawasaki disease.
