Objective:To explore the value of intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion-weighted imaging?IVIM-DWI?in quantitative evaluation of the marginal zone of alveolar echinococcosis?CAE?.Methods:Collect CAE patients who meet the inclusion criteria.Routine MR and IVIM-DWI scans were performed.Thirteen b values?0,20,50,100,200,400,800,1800,2500,3000,3500,4000s/mm2?were used for IVIM-DWI.Substantial areas, marginal areas, edema areas?5mm,10mm,15mm?and contralateral normal areas?pairs?were measured. The standardized apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC standard),pure diffusion coefficient ADC slow?D?,false diffusion coefficient ADC fast?D*?and perfusion fraction?f?of brain parenchyma were analyzed statistically. Results:There was no significant difference in ADC standardtandard value,ADC fastast value,ADC slowlow value and f value between the parenchymal area and the marginal zone of the lesion;there was significant difference in ADC standardtandard value between the parenchymal area and the 10 mm edema area and the control area?P<0.05?;there was significant difference in ADC fast value between the 5 mm edema area and the control area?P<0.05?;there was significant difference in ADC fastast value between the parenchymal area and the control area?P<0.05?.There were significant differences in ADC slowlow values between marginal zone and control area, edema area?5mm,10mm,15mm?and control area?P<0.05?;F values between parenchymal zone and edema area?5mm,10mm,15mm?,control area and edema area?5mm,10mm,15mm?were statistically significant?P<0.05?;there were no significant differences in the results of other groups?P>0.05?.Conclusion:Some parameters of IVIM-DWI(ADC fastast and ADC slow)are helpful to define the extent of CAE infiltration zone and provide objective imaging basis for the formulation of CAE surgical plan and prognosis analysis.
