| Objective:Observed on the impact of vinegar-preparing kansui with umbilical compress therapy on the resuming intestine function in colorectal cancer patients after colon and rectum carcinoma operation.Methods:The study was a randomized double blind controlled,prospective study.It included 23 patients who underwent radical surgery for laparoscopic colorectal cancer in the Department of General Surgery from January2018 to January 2019 in Fourth Medical College ofXinjiang Medical University.Patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into experimental groups and the control group.In the experimental group,15 cases were given general treatment +vinegar-preparing kansui with umbilical compress therapy;8 cases in the control group were given general treatment + placebo forumbilicus therapy;he umbilical treatment time was from 1h after operation until the patient had anal defecation.Observed the outcomes of patients with bowel sound recovery,first exhaust time,first defecation time,hospital stay,postoperative white blood cell count and neutrophil percentage etc;SPSS 24.0statistical software be used to analyze the data results.Results:The results showed that there was statistical significance in the recovery of bowel sounds,the time of first exhaust and the time of first defecation between the two groups(P < 0.05);there was no statistical significance in the days of hospitalization and the number of white blood cells after operation between the two groups(P>0.05).The difference of neutrophils between thetwo groups on the 5th and 7th day after operation was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Vinegar-preparing kansui with umbilical compress therapy may play an important role onthe resuming intestine function after colon and rectum carcinoma operation.This result is helpful for the further popularization of TCM external therapy in rehabilitation after surgery. |
