Objective: By summarizing the general information, clinical characteristics, common TCM syndromes, lung function, laboratory examination and other clinical characteristics of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis patients, the basis for clinical diagnosis and prognosis of patients was provided. Methods: Through this study retrospectively collected sep 2013 to sep 2018 in xinjiang uygur autonomous region hospital of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis for patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, indeed in line with the "idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis,82 patients with inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, summarizes the patients' general information,TCM syndrome types, clinical symptoms and physical signs, pulmonary function, tumor markers and blood gas analysis. Results: 1.A total of 82 patients were collected, including 57 males and 25 females, with the maximum age of 92 years and the minimum age of 43 years. There were 39 patients with smoking history.2.The distribution proportions of TCM syndromes were: 28cases(blood stasis type),25 cases(30.6%),8 cases(9.7%),7 cases(8.5%),6 cases(7.3%),4 cases(4.9%),and 4 cases(4.9%).3.Among the clinical symptoms and signs of IPF,cough accounted for the highest proportion(67 cases),followed by 53 cases of sputum cough,48 cases of chest tightness and asthma,25 cases of lung auscultation and burst sound,22 cases of clubbing fingers, and 10 cases of cyanosis of lips.4.Among different TCM syndrome types, the expected percentage of DLCO in the combined syndrome group was(50.46±20.94),and there was significant difference in the predicted percentage in the combined syndrome group(P <0).05);5.There were statistically significant differences in CEA and CA125 between different TCM syndromes(P <0).05);Conclusion: 1.TCM syndrome differentiation of IPF patients is dominated by syndrome differentiation;2.There are more males than females with the disease;3.Lung function in different TCM syndromes showed carbon monoxide dispersion and reduced forced vital capacity, mainly DLCO,and the concurrent syndrome group was lower than the deficiency syndrome group and the empirical group;4.Cough accounts for the highest proportion of clinicalsymptoms and signs of IPF,followed by expectoration, chest tightness and asthma, auscultation of burst sounds in the lungs, and cyanosis of the lips;5.The difference of tumor markers of different TCM syndromes was statistically significant.
