Objective:To guide the use of clinical antibiotics by analyzing the bacterial spectrum of infection and drug sensitivity in patients with chronic post traumatic osteomyelitis. Methods:Retrospective study of 57 cases of posttraumatic chronic osteomyelitis admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from October 2012 to April 2018.SPSS22 statistical software was used to compare the proportion of main pathogenic bacteria between iatrogenic infection and open infection. Results:There were 8 species and 30 strains Gram-negative bacteria, and 5species and 30 strains Gram-positive bacteria.Staphylococcus aureus among Gram-positive bacteria has the highest detection rate, among Gram-negative bacteria,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter vaginis were the main ones. All of Gram-positive bacteria are sensitive to vancomycin and tetracycline, however highest rate of resistance to penicillin. All of Gram-negative bacteria are sensitive to Merophanes, and the sensitivity rate of imipenem was 96.15%,cefuroxime had the highest drug resistance rate. There was no significant difference in the ratio of the main pathogens between iatrogenic infection and open infection?~2=5.443,P=0.146,P>0.05.Conclusion:Staphylococcusaureus,Pseudomonasaeruginosaand Enterobacter vaginis are the main pathogenic bacteria of posttraumatic chronic osteomyelitis,Understanding the distribution of posttraumatic chronic osteomyelitis bacteria and drug sensitivity plays an important role in the rational selection of antibiotics in clinical practice and in the control of infection.Compared with other relevant literature reports in China, the results of this study are different from the results, which may be related to the climate difference and medical and health conditions in Northwest China. The difference between the main pathogens of iatrogenic infection and open infection is whether or not it is iatrogenic. The infection is converted from open to open after surgical treatment or sinus formation, and further research is needed.
