Short-term Clinical Effect Of Arthroscopic Surgery Combined With Open Wedge High Tibial Osteotomy In The Treatment Of Medial Compartment Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe the short-term clinical effect of arthroscopic surgery combined with open wedge high tibial osteotomy(OWHTO)for the treatment of knee joint medial compartment osteoarthritis and to provide a safe and feasible method for clinical treatment of knee joint medial compartment osteoarthritis.Methods: According to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,24 patients(26 knees)with knee joint medial compartment osteoarthritis were collected.The Visual Analog Score(VAS),KSS Function score(KSS),medial proximal tibial angles(MPTA)and femorotibial angles(FTA)were analyzed statistically.The short-term clinical results of arthroscopic surgery and combined open wedge high tibial osteotomy for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis were analyzed.Results: The VAS score,KSS score,MPTA angle and FTA angle of the patients were statistically analyzed.The measurement data were in accordance with the normal distribution.The paired sample t-test showed significant difference(P <0.05).Conclusions: The knee pain was relieved 6 months after operation,the clinical functional score of knee joint KSS was improved,medial proximal tibial angles and femorotibial angles were changed,and the varus deformity of the knee was corrected.Concluded that arthroscopic surgery combined with medial open high tibial osteotomy for the treatment of medial knee osteoarthritis short-term effect was significant.
