Objective The analysis of the cause of post-stroke hemiplegia shoulder pain,Designed a clinical study to explore the effect of nerve mobilization combined with scapular control training on hemiplegia shoulder pain, and provide evidence for physical therapist in choose the most appropriate treatment programs of hemiplegia shoulder pain.Methods(1)60 patients with post-stroke hemiplegia and shoulder pain were randomly divided into control group(n=28)and treatment group(n=32).The patients in control group were treated with routine rehabilitation therapy program. The patients in treatment group were treated with the nerve mobilization combined with scapular control training program.(2)All the patients were assessed using Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)for shoulder pain, angle measurement menthod for the range of should motion, simplified Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA)for upper extremity function and Modified Bathel Index(MBI)for Activities of Daily Living(ADL)before and 6 weeks of treatment respectively.Results(1)There was no significant difference in VAS scores, the rang of should motion,FMA and MBI scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).(2)After 6 weeks of treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups were significantly lower than before(P<0.001),and treatment group was significantly lower(P<0.01).The rang of should motion, scores of FMA and MBI in both groups were higher than those before the treatment(P<0.001),and those in treatment group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion(1)Nerve mobilization combined with scapular control training program can better relieve the shoulder pain, improve the range of should motion, improve the motor function of upper limbs and ability of daily life.(2)There were significant relationships among shoulder pain, the range of should motion, the motor function of upper limbs and ability of daily life of the hemiplegia shoulder pain patients. It indicated that the shoulder pain relief is benefit to the range of should motion and the motor function of upper limbs and ability of daily life of stroke paitients.
