Objective To explore the clinical significance of presepsin in diagnosing preterm Late-onset sepsis and monitoring the treatment effect. Methods Patients were recruited by hospital from October 2016 to September 2017,We studied newborns 37 weeks' gestational age with LOS(n = 29),The high-risk group of 10 cases,14 cases of moderate group,low-risk groups in 5 cases, and noninfected controls(n = 30),At enrollment,1,3,and 5 days later,we ascertained the CRP,PCT,and presepsin in the LOS group? In the control group,we also ascertained the CRP,PCT,and sCD14-ST.Observation of late-onset sepsis group before and after treatment in neonates with various index dynamic change and thecorrelation.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analysis of presepsin in the LOS.Results Before the treatment,LOS group of CRP ? PCT ? presepsin levels were significantly higher than in control group(P<0.05),presepsin levels before treatment, the use of drugs in 3 days and 5 days later, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),The areas under ROC curves were 0.953 for presepsin,0.929 for PCT and 0.837 for CRP,respectively. Conclusions Presepsin compared with CRP and PCT in the diagnosis of preterm late-onset sepsis has certain advantages,it can provide important clinical basis for the diagnosis of sepsis.
