Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To investigate the association between varains on adiponectin gene rs2241766 and colorectal cancer risk. Methods:We searched PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,The Cochrane library,Elsevier,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,WanFang data,SinoMed and Chongqing VIP to search for all eligible case-control studies Published up to December 2018.Effect sizes of odds ratios(OR)and 95 %confidence intervals(95 % CI)were calculated using a fixed-or random-effect model.Ten case-control studies including 3080 cases and 3582 controls were selected.Meta analysis was Performed using review Manager 3.5.2 software to study the relationship between colorectal cancer and seven genetic models.Results:Meta-analysis showed that the yellow human adiponectin rs2241766 locus gene model G vs.T,GG+GT vs.TT,GT vs.GG+TT,GG vs.TT,GT vs TT is associated with colorectal cancer;regional subgroup analysis suggests Chinese genetic model G vs.T,GG+GT vs.TT,GT vs.GG+TT,GG vs.TT,GT vs.TT is associated with colorectal cancer. Conclusion:The adiponectin gene rs2241766 polymorphism is associated with the occurrence of yellow and Chinese colorectal cancer.
