Objectives:Analysis of IL-17,IL-22 and IL-23 expression in basal cell carcinoma tissues and normal skin tissues by measuring the difference expression levels of IL-17,IL-22 and IL-23 in basal cell carcinoma(BCC)tissues and normal skin tissues.To explore the role of IL-23/Th17-associated cytokines in the progression of basal cell carcinoma,and hope to provide theoretical support for non-surgical treatment of clinical basal cell carcinoma from cytokines.Methods:Thirty-five patients with basal cell carcinoma(BCC)histopathological clots were collected as experimental group.Ten cases of normal skin tissue from the same period of surgery were collected and made into wax blocks.The samples were used as control group and detected by protein immunohistochemical staining.The expression levels of IL-17,IL-22 and IL-23 in the BCC group and the normal skin control group.Results:The expression level of IL-17 in basal cell carcinoma was higher than that in normal skin tissue(Z=2.480,P<0.05).IL-17 was expressed in basal cell carcinoma tissue cells and tumor stromal cells.The expression level of IL-23 in basal cell carcinoma was higher than that in normal skin tissue(Z=2.151,P<0.05).IL-23was mainly expressed in cytoplasm of basal cell carcinoma tissue,and partially located in cytoplasm of tumor stromal cells.There was no significant difference in the expression levels of IL-22 between basal cell carcinoma and normal skin tissues(Z=1.340,P>0.05).There was a positive correlation between the expression levels of IL-17 and IL-23 in basal cell carcinoma(r_s=0.501,P<0.05).Conclusions:The expression levels of IL-17 and IL-23 in basal cell carcinoma are higher than those in normal skin tissues.IL-23/Th17 related cytokines may be involved in the occurrence and development of basal cell carcinoma.The expression of IL-17 and IL-23 was positively correlated,suggesting that IL-23 may promote the secretion and proliferation of Th17 cells,promote the secretion of IL-17 and play a synergistic role in the occurrence and development of basal cell carcinoma.There is no statistical difference in the expression level of IL-22 between basal cell carcinoma and normal skin tissue.Whether IL-22 is involved in the occurrence and development of basal cell carcinoma remains to be further confirmed.
