Clinical Effect Of You Gui Wan Formula Cum Metformin On Kidney Yang Deficient PCOS-IR And 25OHD Level

Objective:Investigate the clinical effection and 250HD level of the combined prescription of You Gui Wan formula and Metformin on kidney-yang PCOS-IR.Method:Collect 60 cases of PCOS-IR patients aged 20-35 enrolled in Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine.Using random numeral method,separate the patients into two equal groups,with the treatment group given prescription of both You Gui Wan formula and Metformin,while the control group is prescribed only with Metformin.During the 6 months period of treatment,observe and record each patient's age,course of disease,height,weight,BMI before and after treatment,clinical syndromes,as well as a series of indexes such as BBT,FINS,EPG,HOMA-IR,LH,FSH,AMH,T,SHBG,and 250HD.Record the previous information will be processed for data analysis through the SPSS 22.0 statistical software.Results:1.Overall clinical effect:treatment group 82.76%,control group 58.62%,there is significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05);2.Reproductive Endocrine indexes:the levels of LH,AMH,T of the patients from both groups have shown to decrease after treatment,the level of SHBG of the patient from both group shown increase after treatment;however,the reproductive endocrine indexes of patients from the treatment group have shown obvious overall improvement compared to that from the control group,hence there is significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05);3.Carbohydrate metabolism:both groups have shown to obtain lower FINS and HOMA-IR levels after treatment,with the treatment group showing a larger decrease in the indexes,hence there is significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05);4.250HD level:patients from the treatment group show higher 250HD levels after the 6 months period of treatment,hence there is significant difference within the treatment group before and after the course of treatment(P<0.05);5.Traditional Chinese Medicine symptoms and basal body temperature(BBT):both the treatment and control groups show improvements in TCM symptoms and BBT,with the treament group preceding the control group,hence there is significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05);6.BMI:BMI of both groups show improvement after treatment,there is no significant difference btween the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The combined prescription of You Gui Wan and Metformin on the treatment of PCOS-IR is able to effectively improve the patients' clinical symptoms,reproductive endocrine levels,glucose metabolism disorders,as well as increasing their 250HD index.2.The combined prescription of You Gui Wan and Metformin compared to the single usage of Metformin is able to achive higher curative effects,therefore it is worth applying during clinical practices.
