Objective: By evaluating the alleviation of clinical symptoms and related signs of infantile nippled moth(syndrome of wind-heat invading lung)treated by traditional Chinese medicine Detoxification and Liyan Prescription combined with conventional Western medicine,to evaluate its clinical efficacy, clarify the safety and practicability of this treatment in clinical application, and the treatment scheme of infantile nippled moth treated by traditional Chinese medicine is further improved for clinical treatment, and provides new ideas and methods for clinical treatment. Methods: In this study,60 children were selected as subjects according to the clinical diagnostic criteria of the disease and the selection criteria of the infantile nippled moth(syndrome of wind-heat invading lung).Randomized control method was used to divide them into two groups for clinical observation, both of them were given amoxicillin sodium and clavulanate potassium for injection and Xiyanping injection as basic treatment. The treatment group(30 cases)was given the traditional Chinese medicine Detoxification and Liyan prescription orally on this basis, while the control group(30 cases)was given Yinqiaosan orally. Both of them cooperate with external therapy and purulent curettage. After 5 days as a course of treatment, the main curative effect and secondary curative effect indexes of two groups of children before and after the treatment were observed by TCM syndrome integral scale, and their differences were compared, then the clinical curative effect of the drugs was evaluated. Results: The cure rate of the treatment group was 53.33%,and the total effective rate was 96.67%;while in the control group, the cure rate was 43.33%,the total effective rate was 93.33%.Statistical analysis showed that the former had certain advantages over Yinqiaosan group in the time of fever regression, and it was also found that the clinical effect of Detoxification and Liyan Prescription in children with tonsillar suppuration was more significant than Yinqiaosan. Conclusion: Detoxification and Liyan Prescription is effective in the treatment of infantile nippled moth(syndrome of wind-heat invading lung). No adverse reactions and toxic side effects were found in clinical observation. This study provides a safe, effective, scientific and practical therapy for the treatment of infantile nippled moth in clinic, which is worth popularizing and using.
