| Objective:To detect the expression of microRNA-125 b in tongue squamous cell carcinoma(TSCC)and analyze its relationship with clinicopathological features of tongue squamous cell carcinoma.Methods:RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of microRNA-125 b in 35 cases of TSCC tissues and corresponding adjacent normal tissues. The relationship between the expression of microRNA-125 b in TSCC tissues and the clinicopathological features of tongue squamous cell carcinoma patients was analyzed. In situ hybridization(ISH)was used to detect the expression level of microRNA-125 b in 35 TSCC tissues and corresponding adjacent normal tissues. Results: RT-PCR showed that the relative expression of microRNA-125 b in tongue squamous cell carcinoma was2.32±0.69,and the relative expression of microRNA-125 b in adjacent normal tissues was0.87±0.32.Statistical analysis showed TSCC.The expression of microRNA-125 b in tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal tissues,P<0.001;and the expression level of microRNA-125 b in 35 TSCC tissues was not significantly correlated with age, gender, pathological grade and lymph node metastasis, but was significantly correlated with clinical stage.Correlation, the expression level of microRNA-125 b in stage III+IV patients was higher than that in stage I+II,P<0.05.The results of in situ hybridization showed that the expression level of microRNA-125 b in 35 TSCC tissues was higher than that in corresponding normal tissue sections. The level of expression,P<0.05.Conclusion: microRNA-125 b is highly expressed in 35 cases of tongue squamous cell carcinoma(TSCC),which is associated with clinical stage, suggesting that up-regulation of microRNA-125 b may be involved in the development of TSCC. |
