Object:To explore the correlation between over-expression of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)and abnormal of p-4E binding protein 1(4EBP1)in different biological subtype breast carcinoma.Methods:111 cases of invasive breast carcinoma were included.Immuneohistochemistry was applied to analyze the expression of EGFR and 4EBP1 in all cases. The clinicopathological parameters between EGFR and 4EBP1were considered, and their correlations with lymphatic metastasis and TNM neoplasm staging were discussed. Results:The positive rate expression of EGFR and 4EBP1 were higher in Triple-negative breast cancer,it was 43.8%(c~2=7.000,P=0.030)and 41.7%(c~2=1.722,P=0.423).Their positive rate was prominent correlation(r=0.453,P=0.000).Both EGFR and 4EBP1 with high expression were correlate with lymph node metastasis(r=0.520,P=0.000;r=0.444,P=0.000)andTNMstaging(r=0.533,P=0.000;r=0.273,P=0.004).There were no statistical differences of DFS.Conclusion:The overexpression of 4EBP1 was possibly related to EGFR.Their expression may promote the process of lymphatic metastasis. |
