Objective: To study the epidemiological characteristics of tuberculosis in Akesu Prefecture,and provide scientific basis for the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis in Akesu.Method: The descriptive epidemiology method was used to analyze the data of the tuberculosis patients who had been registrated in the network of Akesu Prefecture during 2011-2015.Result: It was found that 22131 cases of tuberculosis patients were reported in Akesu Prefecture during 2011-2015.Patients were mainly over 50 years old,which accounted for 64.26%(14221/22131)of the total number of patients.The dominant occupation was found to be farmers(87.40%(19343/22131).The dominant nationality was found to be Uyghur nationality(94.96%(21015/22131).Xinhe,Wensu and Shaya County had the higher incidence report,the registration rate of these regions were 215.61/ 100000(1956/907200),209.07/100000(2651/1268000),208.28/100000(2798/1343400),resp ectively.The number of reported patients was found higher in March and November,which accounted for 11.71%(2591/22131)and 12.39%(2742/22131),respectively,and the least was in December(3.76%(832/22131).Tuberculosis patients mainly came from recommendation and treatment based symptoms(39.03%(8638/22131)and 32.12%(7108/22131),respectively).Conclusion:Through this study,we preliminarily determined the time,region and population of TB prevention and control in Akesu Prefecture,including men,the elderly,farmers,uygur,xinhe county,wensu county,shaya county,March,November and so on.
