Objective: To discuss the clinical curative effect, mechanism and advantage of the auricular pressure bean and infantile massage therapy in treating children myopia. Methods: Select 60 children patients who suffer liver and kidney deficiency(120 eyes in total)and randomly divide them into two groups: the observation group as well as the control group. The former group of patients are treated by auricular pressure bean and infantile massage therapy while the latter group solely by infantile massage therapy. The treatment includes three periods.Based on the analysis and assessment of the observation group and control group's visual acuity recovery and symptom score, this paper discussed the advantages of the combined treatment of auricular pressure bean and infantile massage. Results: The vision of both groups got significantly improved after the treatment(P<0.01).Besides,their accompanying symptoms were also relieved. It is obvious that these two methods are both effective for treating children myopia. The overall effective rate for the observation group is 88.33% while that for the control group is 66.67%.Therefore,the curative former group is better than that of the latter group(P<0.05).The method used for the observation group is more effective than that for the control group. Conclusion: Auricular pressure bean and infantile massage therapy can play an effective role in facilitating periorbital blood circulation, functional activities of qi,and alleviating ocular as well as physical symptoms. |
