[Purpose]To investigate the clinical significance of the characteristics and parameters of pulmonary function indexes FEV1,FEF25,FEF50 and FEF75 in Bronchiectasis Test and their clinical diagnostic value in cough variant asthma(CVA).[Methods]In this study,56 CVA patients and 57 normal subjects were select ed as the control group. All subjects underwent inhalation of salbutamol 200 Lrg for bronchodilation test;CVA patients were divided into three groups:obstruction group, small airway dysfunction group, and small airway function normal group.Baseline data and FEV1,FEF25,FEF50,FEF75 before and after diast olic test were recorded.Statistical processing was performed using SPSS 22.0 statistical software.[Results]1.In this study,19.64%of CVA patients had obstructive ventilation dysfunction, and 39.29%had small airway dysfunction, and 41.07%had normal small airway function, and 8.9%diastolic test was positive.2.CVA patients with FEV1/preFEVI%,FEV1/FVC(%),FEF25%pred,FEF50%pred,and FEF75%pred,were significantly different from the control group(P values were:P= 0.005,P = 0.003,P = 0.000,P = 0.000,P = 0.004).3.The improvement rates of FEV1,FEF25,FEF50 and FEF75 in patients with obstructive pulmonary dysfunction after bronchiectasis test were significant 1y different from those in the control group. The P values were P = 0.000,P = 0.001;P = 0.001,P = 0.014.4.The improvement rate of FEV1 in CVA patients with small airway dysfunction was not significantly different from that in control group(P = 0.682),but the improvement rates of FEF25,FEF50 and FEF75 were significantly different from those in control group(P = 0.049,P = 0.041,P = 0.005).5.The improvement rates of FEV1(P = 0.842),FEF25(P = 0.452),FEF50(P = 0.161),FEF75(P = 0.107)in patients with CVA with normal large and small airway function were not significantly different from those in the control group,P values were P = 0.842,P = 0.452,P = 0.161,P = 0.107.[Conclusion]1.Pulmonary function in CVA patients can be abnormal or normal.2.FEF50 and FEF75 in MEFV curve can better reflect the characteristics of small airway function in CVA.3.The pulmonary function of CVA patients with obstructive ventilation dysfunction was significantly lower than that of the control group; The improvement rate of FEV1 after bronchodilation test was higher than that of the control group, and the airway was more reversible, suggesting that the improvement rate of FEV1 after bronchodilation test might have predictive value for this group.4.The improvement rate of FEVl in CVA patients with small airway dysfunction after bronchiectasis test was not significantly different from that in the contr of group. The improvement rates of FEF25,FEF50 and FEF75 were significantly higher than those in the control group.5.The improvement rates of FEV1,FEF25,FEF50 and FEF75 in CVA patients with normal airway function were not significantly different from those in the control group after bronchodilation test, suggesting that bronchiectasis alone may have a poor effect in this group.
