Objective:To investigate the effect of pretreament serum hemoglobin(Hb)level on the prognosis of early extranodal nasal type NK/T cell lymphoma. Methods:Records of patients with extranodal nasal type NK/T cell lymphoma, treated in Shanxi Medical University Affiliated Tumor Hospital from 2000 to 2015,were reviewed. The inclusion criteria including Ann Arbor I/II stage, the primary tumor site located in the upper aerodigestive tract, not with other malignant diseases and complete clinical information and follow-up data. Results:Of the 218 cases,175 cases were involved in the analysis according to the inclusion criteria. In univariate analysis, the pretreatment serum Hb level(?120 g/L),LDH level(normal),ECOG performance status(0-1),Ann Arbor(I_E)and radiotherapy significantly improved Progression free survival(PFS)and Overall survival(OS).In multivariate analysis, the pretreatment serum Hb level,LDH level,ECOG performance status and Ann Arbor stage are independent prognostic factors for PFS and OS.Conclusions:Patients with pretreatment serum Hb level?120 g/L have a better prognosis than those with<120g/L. |
