Objective To investigate people with SCL effect on corneal endothelial cells after different time and patients with SCL are whether or not related to corneal endothelial cell density and average cell area,by applying Topcon SP-3000p type corneal endothelial cell meter,comparing myopia patients with SCL or without SCL of corneal endothelial cell density and form related indicators.Method 73 myopia patients(145eyes)treated in the ophthalmic excimer and clinics of Ningxia Medical University.All were divided into three observation groups according to the time of wearing SCL:gro up A:1y?t<5y(42eyes);group B:5y?t<10y(39eyes);group C:t?10y(20eyes);Patients without wearing SCL was a control group D(44eyes).Then measured cell density?percentage of hexagonal endothelium?coefficient of variation?average cell area?standard deviation?maximum cell area?minimum cell area by using Topcon SP-3000P non-contact corneal endothelial cell meter.Also analyzed and researched for the changes of the four groups of corneal endothelial cells by using the SPSS statistics software.Result 1.When it comes to corneal endothelial cell density,significant difference was found in four groups and there are statistically significant(p<0.05).Group B and C are less than group D,and the differences are statistically meaningful(p<0.05).Group A is less than group D,but the differences aren't statistically significant(p>0.05).2.There was significant difference in terms of average cell area when they were compared in four groups.And there are statistically significant(p<0.05).Group B and C are greater than group D,and the differences are statistically meaningful(p<0.05).Group A is greater than group D,but the differences aren't statistically significant(p>0.05).Corneal endothelial cell density is relevant to the average cell area and it shows a negative correlation(Relevant index r=-0.986,p=0.000<0.05).3.When it comes to coefficient of variation of corneal endothelial cells,significant difference was found in four groups and there are statistically significant(p<0.05).Group A,B and C are greater than group D,and the differences are statistically meaningful(p<0.05).Group A and B is less than group C,but the differences aren't statistically significant(p<0.05).4.There was significant difference in terms of corneal endothelial hexagonal cells when they were compared in four groups.And there are statistically significant(p<0.05).Group A,B and C are less than group DP the differences are statistically meaningful(p<0.05).5.There was significant difference in terms of corneal endothelium maximum cell area when they were compared in four groups.And there was statistically significant(p<0.05).Group A,B and C is gradually rising,at the same time,they are larger than group D,the differences are statistically significant(p<0.05).6.There was no significant difference in terms of corneal endothelium in minimum cell area when they were compared in four groups.GroupA,B and C was gradually rising and they were smaller than group D,but compared with control group D,only group C was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion 1.Compare to without wearing SCL,those patients wear SCL have obvious differences in corneal endothelial cell density and form.Both corneal endothelial cell density and the percentage of hexagonal endothelium are decreasing while the coefficient of variation,the average cell area and the maximum cell area are increasing.Moreover,whel time goes by,they will increase more seriously,and it is most remarkable in the changes of coefficient of variation,percentage of hexagonal endothelium and average cell area.2.There is a negative correlation between corneal endothelial cell density and average cell area when patients wear SCL,that is to say cell density will decrease while average cell area increase.3.Patients with SCL should check the corneal regularly by corneal endothelial cell meter to neatly and accurately assess the corneal status.
