| Objective:to evaluate the mobilization efficacy and safety of the regimen consisted of etoposide and cytarabine(EA regimen)in lymphoma and myeloma patients,for autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(ASCT).Methods:Eighty-six cases of lymphoma/myeloma patients receiving EA mobilization at Fujian Medical University Union Hospital from 2013.3 to 2017.12 were included(Male 56 cases,female 30 cases),The median age of the patients was 47(8-66)years.The median weight of the patients was 63(22-90)kg.The diseases included NHL(32cases),HL(5 cases)and MM(49 cases).The median time of disease diagnosis to mobilization was 10.5(3-61)months.The EA regimen was etoposide(100 mg/m~2/day,days 1-3)and cytarabine(500 mg/m~2/q12h,days 1-3).The patients were injected with the G-CSF 5?g/kg/d subcutaneously from d5 to apheresis,and the apheresis timing was the day WBC>4.0 x 10~9/L and peripheral blood CD34+cells>0.01 x 10~9/L.Results:All 86 patients underwent successful collection(CD34+cell numbers>2.0 x10~6/kg).Seventy-two cases(83.7%)had CD34+cell numbers greater than or equal to5.0 x 10~6/kg.Seventy-nine cases(91.9%)had CD34+numbers>2.0x10~6/kg in a single day,and 68 cases(79.1%)had CD34+numbers>5.0 x 10~6/kg within the first day.The median of total CD34+cells was 18.1(2.24~111.0)x 10~6/kg.Eighty–five patients successfully underwent auto-HSCT(59 patients single transplantation,26 patients tandem transplantation).The median time of neutrophils and platelet engraftment in single transplantation was 11(8~38)days and 11 days(0-48 days)respectively.The median time of neutrophils and platelet engraftment in tandem transplantation was 12 days(10-22 days)and 14 days(10-30 days)respectively.Conclusion:EA regimen was highly effective in lymphoma/MM patients.All patients had successful reconstruction of hematopoietic stem cells after autologous peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.EA regimen was especially suitable for the tandem transplantation of multiple myeloma. |
