Point-of-care testing(POCT)is a rapid detection technology in clinical medicine.It has been widely used in blood sugar,tumor detection and so on.In many applications,microfluidic POCT chips detect the edge effect of liquid flow at the edge of the channel when the liquid flows through the microchannel.The edge effect reduces the detection accuracy of POCT chips.In order to eliminate the edge effect of POCT chips,a new method of local modification of the edge of microchannel to eliminate edge effect is proposed in this paper.The main contents are as follows: The flow properties of liquid in the POCT chip channel are analyzed and studied.A scheme to eliminate the edge effect by coating hydrophobic materials on the edge of POCT chip channel is proposed.Three kinds of solution of paraffin,silicone oil and neutral resin adhesive were selected as hydrophobic lines.The effect of edge effect was eliminated by coating to the edge of micro POCT chip.The result showed that the scheme was feasible.A more practical emulsified paraffin solution and thickened paraffin solution are developed to solve the problems of three kinds of solution as a hydrophobic drawing material.In view of the instability of the coating width and the low coating efficiency in the manual drain line,an automatic drainage equipment for eliminating the edge effect is designed and built.The overall structure and control system of the equipment were designed,and the key components were selected and calculated,and finally the whole equipment was built.After setting up,the equipment is debugged and the accuracy is checked.The results show that the design requirements are satisfied.Aiming at the problem of eliminating the edge effect by using the drainage line equipment,the scheme of drainage line optimization is optimized.The experiment has been done by using the optimized drainage scheme to eliminate chip edge effect.The effect of the coating with different width on the edge effect is eliminated,and the effect of the chip on the detection of the disease after the edge effect is eliminated,as well as the time effectiveness of the developed hydrophobic modified material for eliminating the edge effect.The larger the coating width is,the more obvious the elimination effect is.The suitable coating width of the material is 100-120?m.The detection precision of microfluidic real-time detection chip has been improved obviously after the coating width is removed to eliminate the edge effect in 100?m.The effect of eliminating the edge effect is timeliness.The research effectively eliminates the edge effect in the microfluidic POCT chip,obviously improves the detection precision of the POCT chip,and provides a preliminary scheme for the batch elimination of the edge effect of the POCT chip.
