| ObjectiveTo analyze the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in the treatment of multiple myeloma(MM)effect,and compare the advantages and disadvantages of different transplantation methods.MethodsA retrospective analysis from 2007 to 2017 for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in 38 MM patients which included 27 cases of single autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation,3 patients underwent allogeneic sibling and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation,7 patients underwent 2 consecutive autologous transplantation,1 cases of recurrence after the 2 autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.Chemotherapy was usd before transplantation(18 cases with Bortezomib),Transplantation of stem cells after preconditioning.The follow-up period was 10?125 months.Results38 patients were transplanted,no transplant related death.32 patients achieved CR,5 cases PR,1 cases SD.The median follow-up was 36 months(10?125),15 cases of recurrence,1 cases were confirmed by 2 times after autologous transplantation achieved PR,2 patients achieved CR after chemotherapy,2 cases achieved PR after chemotherapy,4 patients with SD after chemotherapy,2 patients died of disease progress after chemotherapy,1 cases of untreated death,1 cases of secondary shock and death,1 cases of secondary leukemia died without treatment,1 cases need to continue follow-up after chemotherapy,17 cases died.The median PFS was 53.95 months,the median OS was 61.30 months.After transplantation,3 8 patients became better than before.the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionHematopoietic stem cell transplantation is safe and effective in the treatment of multiple myeloma,in the new period still has an important position.As for the choice of what kind of transplantation,Further research is needed. |
