Research Progress In Targeted Therapy For Glioma

Objective:Summarize the research progress of targeted therapy for glioma.Content:Glioma has been discovered for over 100 years,but malignant glioma can not be cured yet at present,and the median progression free survival(MPFS)and median overall survival(MOS)for patients are all short.With the development of scientific research,multiple signaling pathways have been caught sight of,at the same time,some anti-tumor drugs have emerged,which brings new hope to the treatment of glioma.By looking up for the previous findings and the latest clinical trials,the study summarizes the signal pathway as well as the relative targeting drug of glioma,and analyses whether there is a correlation between glioma signaling pathway to provide some guidance for clinical treatment of glioma.Results:By means of consulting the periodicals,dissertations,books and so on at home and abroad utilizing Wanfang Data knowledge service platform,CNKI,Pubmed and other websites for the last 5 years,we summary and analyze the new discovery and new progress of the signal pathway of neuroglioma.Conclusion:Although glioma is still known as an incurable disease,the current targeted therapy does prolong the median progression free survival and the overall median survival time,and it will also become a powerful weapon to defeat glioma in the future.
