Objective: To summarize the effect of multidisciplinary team(MDT)in diagnosis and treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods: A retrospective review was performed on clinical data of 61 cases who were gave a preliminary diagnosis with hepatocellular carcinoma and entered MDT admitted to Hebei General Hospital from Nov.2014 to Nov.2017.The coincidence rate before and after MDT,the coincidence rate of post MDT diagnosis and postoperative pathological diagnosis,the 1 year survival rate of the MDT operation group,the 1 year survival rate of the MDT integrated treatment group were evaluated.Results: There were 16 patients were diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma pathologically before MDT.45 cases were not diagnosed definitely before MDT.In the 45 cases,12 patients'(26.67%)diagnosis were amended after discussion and 4 patients(8.89%)can not be confirmed.88.64% of the patients who obtained definite diagnosis were consistent with the MDT diagnosis.The 1 year survival rate of the patients undergoing surgical treatment was 80% and the rate is 72.73% who received integrated treatment after MDT.Conclusion:1.MDT reduced the misdiagnosis of HCC;2.Based on the whole body condition,liver function and tumor stage,the best individualized comprehensive treatment scheme was formulated to avoid improper or excessive treatment,reduce the randomness of treatment by clinicians according to experience;3.Improve the level of diagnosis and treatment.
