Effects Of Store Operated Calcium Channel In Acute Coronary Syndrome

ObjectiveTo study the changes of serum calcium ion signal(SOCC)protein STIM1,Orai1,TRPC1 levels in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS),and evaluate the effects of the combination of direct thrombin inhibitor Maixuekang capsule and rosuvastatin on them.MethodsFifty patients with ACS were continuously admitted to Beijing anzhen hospital from January 1,2015 to December 31,2015 as ACS group,fifty subjects without coronary artery lesions were as controls.Both were collected blood samples(the ACS group blood prior to drug treatment).The store operated calcium channel STIM1,Orai1,TRPC1 levels were measured by fluid cytology test.And also the ACS group was randomized(closed envelope method)into routine treatment subgroup(RTT group)and combined treatment subgroup(CBT group),the latter was given the combination of Maixuekang capsule(3 capsules,3 times a day)and rosuvastatin(15mg qd)in addition to conventional drugs,continuous determination of blood after three-month treatment was measured the SOCC levels.Mean differences between both groups were compared using a number of independent-sample t-test and analysis of variance.For enumeration data,chi-square test was used to compare mean values of biomarkers between both groups.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.ResultsSerum STIM1,Orai1,TRPC1 levels were significantly higher in ACS group than those in CTR group(P<0.05).After 3 months’ treatment,serum STIM1,Orai1,TRPC1 levels in RTT group were slightly decreased(P>0.05),but serum STIM1,Orai1,TRPC1 levels in CBT group were significantly lower than those in RTT group(P<0.05,P<0.01).ConclusionSOCC participate in the development of atherosclerotic plaque,closely related to its instability.The combination of direct thrombin inhibitor Maixuekang capsule and rosuvastatin reduce the SOCC levels in ACS patients,which may suppress unstable plaques’ progression,or even facilitate them into stable ones.
