Objective:At present, the Valsalva movement is recognized as the most obvious way to cause right to left shunt of the patent foramen oval, and many daily activities, such as weight bearing, sigh, cough, forcefully defecation, squatting exercises and so on can lead to right to left shunt.Anxiety disorder is the most common psychological obstacle in the general hospital at present. All kinds of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are closely related to it.Among them, widespread anxiety is the main manifestation, which can be accompanied by symptoms of sigh and chest tension.According to this,we can suggest that the anxiety disorder combined with PFO may make the patients have the chance of cerebral infarction.Increased, thus providing a new theoretical basis for prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke. Methods:Patients from January 2016 to January 2017 in neurology department of Xianyang hospital of yan 'an university are selected for the research, who was the first patient to be hospitalized and will proceed transcranial Doppler(TCD)foaming experiments. There were 274 men in all, including 131 males and 143 females. All patients underwent anxiety self-rating scale and head CT/MRI examination.According to the results, they were divided into four groups.Group one: patients with anxiety disorder and PFO.Group two: patients with PFO but no anxiety disorder.Groups three: patients with anxiety disorder but no PFO.Group four: patients with no anxiety disorder and no PFO.The number of patients with initial cerebral infarction in the four groups was recorded, and then analysis the right to left shunt of the four groups. Results:There were 56 patients in the first group, including 36 patients with cerebral infarction, and 20 patients with no cerebral infarction. There were 56 patients in the second group, including 24 patients with cerebral infarction, and 32 patients with no cerebral infarction. There were 58 patients in the third group, including 18 patients with cerebral infarction, and 40 patients with no cerebral infarction. There were 104 patients in the fourth group, including 16 patients with cerebral infarction, and 88 patients with no cerebral infarction. The incidence of cerebral infarction in the four groups was: 63.30% in the first group;42.90% in the second group;31.00% in the third group;15.40% in the fourth group.chi-square test were performed on the incidence of cerebral infarction between the four groups(P?0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. When compare the incidence rate of cerebral infarction in four groups, the result shows that there was no significant difference between group two and group three, and the difference between the other groups was statistically significant.that is,The first group patients have a high incidence rate of cerebral infarction,Then follows group two and group three, the fourth group have a relative low incidence rate. The 94 patients who had cerebral infarction were divided into 2 groups, namely, the anxiety infarction group and the non-anxious infarction group, and then the right to left shunt of the two groups was statistically analyzed. The total number of anxiety infarction people was 54,including 18(33.3%)of them did not have right to left shunt, and 15(27.8%)were small shunt, and 8(14.8%)were medium shunt, and 13(24.1%)were large shunt. There were 40 people in the non-anxiety infarction group,of which 16(40.0%)of them did not have right to left shunt, and 9(22.5%)were small shunt, and 7(17.5%)were medium shunt, and 8(20.0%)were large shunt. The 120 people who did not have cerebral infarction and did not incorporate anxiety disorder were set as the control group, and the right to left shunt was statistically analyzed.Among them, there were 88(73.3%)people did not have right to left shunt, and 13(10.8%)were small shunt, and 8(6.7%)were medium shunt, and 11(9.2%)were large shunt.Rank-sum test were performed on the rank data of right to left shunt between the three groups(P?0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. The results were statistically significant between the anxiety infarction group and the control group(Z=4.832),the non-anxiety infarction group and the control group was conducted(Z=3.740).There was no statistically significant difference between anxiety infarction group and non-anxiety infarction group P(Z = 0.538).Conclusion:Anxiety disorder with PFO may increase the incidence rate of cerebral infarction, the reason for this is that,long-term anxiety disorder would make the right to left shunt of patients with PFO increase, which leads to a higher incidence rate.
