Objective:To detect the characteristic of white matter damage in pa-tients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI)by the change of diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)based on tract-based spatial statistics(TBSS).Methods: Collect 19 cases of patients with MCI and 23 healthy control group.Subjects undergo whole brain DTI sequence scans.Use the TBSS software in FSL to perform corresponding preprocessing on DTI data of all subjects.Fractional fractional anisotropy(FA)values were statistically compared between the two groups. Results: Compared with the normal control group, the fiber bundles with significantly reduced FA values in the MCI group included superior longitudinal fasciculus, inferior longitudinal fasciculus, bliateral frontal gyrus and bilateral frontal middle frontal gyrus' fiber bundle, bilateral temporal gyrus, right temporal gyrus cortex beam, anterior part of the right cingulate tract, left corpus callosum pressure part, right hippocampal white matter bundle, deep white matter in the right cerebellar hemisphere(P<0.05).Conclusions: This study suggests that there is significant white matter fiber bundle damage in patients with early dementia, and the range of involvement is larger.Especially the damage of upper and lower longitudinal bundles provides important reference value for the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.
