Objective : To investigate the correlation between the onset of pSS and emotional stimuli(ie,life stress events)by investigating the prevalence of life stress events in pSS patients, and to reveal the potential role of TCM factors in the pathogenesis of pSS.Methods:A case-control study was conducted. The age(±3)and sex 1: 1 pairs of pSS group and HC group were paired. From April 2017 to June 2017,the rheumatoid arthritis ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University,Chinese medicine ward diagnosed as pSS patients, and at the same time in health check-up center for medical patients,a questionnaire survey. The survey included general information, clinical features, life stress events scores and disease scores(Life Events Scale LES,pSS Patient Rating Scale ESSDAI),life stress events as a risk factor, calculated between the two groups The difference between the pSS disease activity and analysis of its relationship.Results:1.A total of 134 cases were enrolled in the study.According to the gender and age(±3)1: 1,67 were matched. There was no significant difference between the two groups in academic record and residence(p> 0.05).2.The general incidence of life stress in the pSS group was significantly higher than that in the HC group, the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05),of which negative life stress events in the pSS group exposure rate was also higher than the HC group, the difference(P> 0.05).However,there was a significant difference between the stress events of negative life and pSS,while there was no significant difference in positive stress events between the two groups(p> 0.05).3.The relationship between the number of negative life stress events and the activity of pSS was analyzed. The number of negative life stress events and negative life event stimuli correlated positively with the ESSDAI score of pSS patients, which was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:Emotional stimuli may be a risk factor for the onset of pSS,especially after experiencing negative emotional stimuli. The risk of morbidity is higher. With the increase in the number of emotionally stimulating events and the accumulation ofstimuli,pSS patients are more active.High, suggesting that experiencing emotional stimuli may aggravate the patient's condition. In the process of clinical diagnosis and treatment of pSS disease, attention should be paid to the patient's emotional and psychological factors.
