Purpose:We observe the level of serum lipid(including total cholesterol,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein cholesterol and high density lipoprotein cholesterol)and the change of bone density in patients with hyperlipidaemia and osteoporosis before and after taking simvastatin.To make clear the relationship between the lipid-regulating effect and medication time of simvastatin,and observe the influence of regular dosage simvastatin to bone density.Explore the relationship between the lipid-regulating effect and intervention to bone density of simvastatin.Methods:Select patients with hyperlipidaemia and osteoporosis at clinic in Tianjin Binhai Dagang community hospital as research subjects.Inclusion criteria:(1)Blood fat was higher than the upper normal range and bone density was lower than the normal value;(2)Male age was more than 55 years old,and female age was more than 45 years old;(3)Statins was never used before.Exclusion criteria:(1)Specific adverse reaction history of simvastatin;(2)Severe liver disease or abnormal liver function obviously;(3)Vicious liquid state;(4)Psychiatric disorder.Selected cases continued taking conventional dose simvastatin(20mg,QN)for six months.They were followed up at 3 months and 6 months so as to understand their drug use and adverse reaction of simvastatin,and to detect their levels of TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C and bone density.Statistical analysis and process were performed for all data.Result:1.There were 62 patients selected in the study.In the process of study,we lost 6 patients because of their move,accidental death or other factors.As a result,there were 56 cases completed the whole study process being effective data finally,including 22 men(39.3%)and 34 women(60.7%).About Age distribution,the minimum was 47 years,the maximum was 81 years,and the mean age was 64.79±7.10 years.2.Every observed index was implemented normality test.The result showed that in addition to TG in non-normal distribution(P<0.05),the index of TC,LDL,HDL-C and bone density were normally distributed(p>0.05).3.The leves of TC,LDL-C and HDL-C were decreased after medication for 3 months than before medication,but there were not statistical differences(P>0.05).The leves of TC,LDL-C and HDL-C were decreased significantly after drug using for 6 months than before medication,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Using nonparametric test K-W multiple independent sample test,compared with before medication,the level of TG was decreased after medication for 3 months and 6 months,but there were not statistical differences(P>0.05).5.The value of bone density was increased after medication for 3 months than before medication,but there were not statistical differences(P>0.05).The value of bone density were increased significantly after drug using for 6 months than before medication and after medication for 3 months,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).6.Using Pearson correlation analysis to analyze the relation between the levels of each blood lipid and bone density value detected at the same time of selected cases.Our results showed there was no correlation between the levels of each blood lipid and bone density value(p>0.05).7.No adverse reactions occurred during follow-up,such as gastrointestinal discomfort,muscle soreness,nervous system reaction and so on.Conclusion:1.Simvastatin has good lipid-lowering effect,and its action is much more significant with the extension of time.2.HDL-C did not rise but lower in the process of drug using,that need to be studied further.3.Simvastatin may be osteotropic by increasing bone density and improving osteoporosis.4.No relevant relationship between lipid regulation and promoting bone was found,meaning that they may be independent role of statins.5.Simvastatin has good clinical tolerance.
