A Research And Analysis On The Attempted Suicide Of Chinese College Students

Suicide is the world's important public health problem,and it is common among teenagers,for now the research on college students' suicide,found that college students' suicide rate rise year by year,and the incidence was significantly higher than the non-college students;suicide is the second cause of death among 15-24 year olds.Currently,there are three types of suicide in the world: suicide idea,attempted suicide and committed suicide,and attempted suicide refers to any non-fatal suicide.Attempted suicide is the most important risk factor for committed suicide,and the suicide risk of attempted suicide is more than 100 times that of the general population.This article reviews the epidemiology,risk factors,pathophysiological mechanism,the method of suicide and intervention measures of suicide attempts of Chinese college students.
