Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the six most common malignant tumors in human being, andcaused about 740 thousand deaths per year. The cause of liver cancer are many factors, including viral infection,aflatoxin,non-alcoholic fatty liver and et al,which leads to liver cirrhosis.Hepatocellular carcinogenesis is a complex sequential process, while TGF-βplays a crutial role to promote its progress,tgf-βmainly promotes the development of tumor through the initiation of epithelial mesenchymal transition(EMT),the regulation of DNA damage response, the promotion of neo-angiogenesis,the induction of anti-tumor immune suppression and immune escape 。 In this study,we will elucidate the mechanisms of TGF-β in promoting of hepatocellular carcinogenesis in all those aspects.
