Objective: To report the preliminary curative results of iliac bon e flap with Sartorius repair acetabular defect combined with grinding acetabular in treating developmental dysplasia of the hip in child.Methods: Retrospective analysis clinical data about 14 patients(15 hips)received open reduction,proximal femoral shortening and r otational osteotomy,acetabular grind,iliac bone flap with Sartorius tr ansplantation to repair acetabular defect from February 2015 to Janua ry 2017.The clinical outcomes were assessed according to the Mc Ka y functional and Severin's radiograph standards,respectively.Results: All fourteen patients were followed up for 13-36months(mean 18.9months).The excellent and good rate was93.3% accordin g to the modified Severin's radiograph standards and 86.7% accordin g to the Mc Kay functional standards.Redislocation occurred in 1 hip,and another hip had limited activities.There was no hip ankylosis,fe moral head necrosis or bone graft absorbing.Conclusion: The short-term outcome is satisfactory in dealing wi th intractable DDH with acetabular defect and bone or cartilage tissu e proliferation,and provides a new treatment option for these patients,while the long-term therapeutic effect need to be further observed. |
