Objective:To analyze the relationship between clinical data and pathological types of retinoblastoma(RB),and to analyze the relationship between image characteristics and clinical and pathological data by manual classification and ultrasound imaging.METHODS:72 patients were pathologically diagnosed with RB from 2007 to 2017 in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University,Children's Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University and Southwest Hospital Affiliated to Army Medical University were selected.Their sex,age,first-time,first symptoms, courses of the diseases, clinical stages, and pathological types were analyzed.Forty-five of the 72 cases of B-ultrasonography images were extracted using Matlab software. The resulting features were Z-score normalized and clustered using R software and clustered for image histology.B-scan image features of forty-five eyeswere manually classified and described and graded.Combined with statistical methods to explore the relationship between imaging histology, image features and clinical data, pathological types.Result:1.Clinical and pathological results:Pearson X2 analysis was performed on the histological type of RB cells and the proportion of Ki67-positive cells,P<0.05.There was no significant correlation with other clinical data. The relationship between RB optic nerve involvement, eye status, disease duration, clinical stage, and Ki67 positive cell ratio was analyzed by Pearson X2 analysis,P<0.05.There was no statistically significant difference with other clinical data. There was no significant correlation between RB optic nerve involvement and histological type..2.Ultrasound imaging group results:45 patients were clustered into 2 groups according to their image characteristics. The distribution of various clinical and pathological types was not statistically significant.3.Ultrasound image feature results:There were no significant correlations between edge, inner echo intensity, and secondary changes in the image features with clinicopathological types of RB.Pearson X2analysis was performed on the ratio of shape and Ki67 cells,P<0.05.Conclusion:There is no relationship between degree of optic nerve involvement and age and histological types. It is related to the courses of diseasesand clinical stages(P<0.05).It shows that the early diagnosis and early treatment of disease are important tothe prognosis of children. The proportion of Ki67 positive cells is related to degree of optic nerve involvement and histological types. The proportion of Ki67 positive cells/reflects the proliferation and differentiation of RB to a certain extent.Significance:Studying the relationship between clinical pathology and general clinical data of diseasesis significantto clinical treatment of diseases.Ultrasound imaging can excavate image feature data to make a certain judgment on the characteristics of the tissue, which is conducive to clinical diagnosis and prediction.
