Rules Of Lymph Node Metastasis Of Esophagogastric Junction Cancer And Current Status Of Surgical Treatment For Esophagogastric Junction Cancer

The incidence of esophageal cancer and distal gastric cancer is decreasing globally,while the incidence of esophagogastric junction cancer is on the rise.The lymphatic metastasis of esophagogastric junction cancer has a tendency of bidirectional transfer of chest cavity and abdominal cavity,Which is mainly paracardial nodes,left gastric nodes,gastric small curved lymph nodes and lower thoracic paraesophageal lymph nodes.Surgery is still the first choice for treatment,but there is no consensus on the selection of surgical methods and the scope of lymph node dissection.In order to improve the survival rate and life quality of the patients,we should be familiar with the rules of lymph node metastasis and choose the appropriate surgical methods.
