Therapy Of Aerodigestive Tract Invaded By DTC

Differentiated thyroid carcinoma(DTC)is a kind of malignant tumor with good prognosis.With the improvement of diagnostic technique,the detection rate increases year by year,and the number of patients increases year by year.However,while the tumor invading the aerodigestive tract,it usually present a poor prognosis and need individual therapy according different condition of cases.So far,the therapy strategy is still challenging.It is the essential concept to preserve the function of the organis invaded by DTC,combined with external radiotherapy,radionuclide therapy and medical treatment,including biological response modifiers and TSH suppression.This paper reviewed the current situation and progress of the therapy of thyroid carcinoma invading the aerodigestive tract.
