| ObjectiveTo investigate the recurrence of thyroid cancer after operation and its related risk factors,to provide a reference for guiding postoperative treatment and prevention of recurrence, and to improve the survival time and quality of life of the patients.MethodsRetrospective analysis of the clinical data of 281 cases of thyroid cancer treated by parallel surgical operation between the People’s Hospital of Shaanxi Province and The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiao Tong University from December 2010 to December 2012.Follow-up was performed on all patients(Deadline:June 31,2017).The incidence of recurrence of thyroid cancer was recorded.Make a single factor using the Chi-square test(χ~2);Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the multivariate analysis. All the data were statistically significant at P<0.05.ResultsOf 281 cases followed up,25 cases had recurrence after operation, the total recurrence rate was 8.9%.The cumulative recurrence free survival rate in 1 year,3 years and 5 years after operation was 97.5%,94.3%and 91.1%,respectively.In the clinical characteristics analyses,Sex,age, living environment, tumor classification, tumor staging, lymph node metastasis, tumor size, and tumor focus center are risk factors for tumor recurrence after thyroidectomy.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age, living environment, tumor classification, tumor stage and tumor focus center were independent risk factors for the recurrence of thyroid cancer after operation.ConclusionThe cumulative recurrence free survival rate in 1 year,3 years and 5 years after operation was97.5%,94.3%and 91.1%,respectively.Sex,age,living environment, tumor type, tumor TMN stage, lymph node metastasis, tumor size and tumor focus center were the related factors of tumor recurrence after thyroidectomy. And Age,living environment, tumor type, tumor TMN stage and tumor focus center were independent risk factors for postoperative recurrence of thyroid carcinoma. |
