Research On Design Of Proton Therapy Hospital Based On Service Design Theory

Proton therapy is considered to be an effective method to fight against cancer in the radiation therapy and proton therapy hospitals are also being constructed globally in a rapid speed.Proton therapy has characteristics like specifically targeted user group,special used principles and high treatment cost.The treatment experience of cancer patients has become an important factor affecting the treatment effect.In view of the fact that traditional radiography hospitals mainly focus on the treatment technology itself and neglect the treatment experience of patients and the operation experience of medical staff,in this paper,the service design theory is used to design a proton therapy center.Firstly,the proton therapy service process model is abstracted based on the existing proton therapy service.Service process analysis,stakeholder analysis,touchpoints analysis and touchpoint matrix analysis are used to explain the proton therapy service systematically.Secondly,based on the theoretical analysis,the research was conducted on patients and medical staff.The major problem of current radiology services was explored from various angles.And it formed the needed insights.Through the motivation matrix,the insights needed for service design were extracted from research findings.In the end,this article focused on satisfying the need through the optimization of service touchpoints,adding new touchpoints and process optimization.By improving the existing online system,optimizing multi-divisional floor plan structure,optimizing treatment room interior structure and improving the proportion of customization factors,the patient's treatment experience can be improved and the average work intensity of medical staff can be reduced.By designing a new type of mobile treatment bed and new treatment equipment,the sequence of time-consuming steps in the treatment can be adjusted.The treatment time of one patient can be reduced and the utilization rate of the treatment room can be increased.In addition,the proton therapy cost can be reduced.At the same time,the health condition of the medical staff can be further guaranteed.The new proton therapy hospital service proposed in this paper can meet the need of medical staff while improving the patient's treatment experience,realize the optimal allocation of resources and further promote proton therapy services to more patients.
